Weird behavior on diffuse material

Post by lekane » Fri Nov 10, 2006 5:47 am

ok here is the problem

Image

on the right of the right building... black area...

it should be like the rest of the building...
Material is diffuse
When i turn the building so that this part faces more the cam.. it turns out ok... so perhaps it has to do with the angle with cam i dunno.... if you want the .blend i still have it...

(btw indigo 0.6b6)

(oh and sorry for abd english ) :D

My normals are ok (i RE-checked after reading your msg)...
In fact, rotating the building would show me black faces if it was a normal problem...

In the XML file?
In the model attribute part
<normal_smoothing>false</normal_smoothing>

Anything Indigo doesn't find in your scene file, will be read from your inifile.txt. So check in there, too.

Think of the inifile.txt as a way of setting your defaults.
