Well, when whaat get's back from Disneyland, it would be nice to see a seperate set of illuminant presets (maybe two tabs, one for the materials the other one for lights)

For example, these values

HI
i have probme with rendering models with fog ;(
i was trying to render and it stays for ages on "building scenes". any of you have this problem? otherwise, the same model without for works perfectly

i ll try to test again but for the moment it doesn t work, except for very little models

edit : oh no finally it works, but the more my scene is comlpicated, the longer it stays on "building scene" when fog activated.

Ok, I spotted a little bug guys.
I tried to click on the BACK button in the mat editor, and it stops working properly. I can't switch UI any more, I can't choose different values...
Something to check, to sum up!

Ehi Whaat! Maybe I spotted a problem!
It's something about exit portals, see images attached: I hope they are self explainatory.
I attach the skp file too, so you can see what's wrong.

..a more complete study
..seems that this is more of an Indigo issue in general, than one of SkIndigo..

hi Pibuz

i wanted to test your scene but there is only the chair and nothing else. no exit portal or room. (although there is a material called Exit in the model's mat)

Sorry Djegoo
The model is actually useless, indeed..

You can test the bug with any scene with exit portals ON and simple PT method..

Hope that you like the chair at least! It's free!!!

yes i like the chair. thank you !
Well i haven t encountered this problem with Exit portal and PT.
I ll test again to see if something happens.

EDIT : i confirm Pibuz's test, Simple PT+ exit portals gives me exactly what he has got.
I had only renderid interiors with bidir pt+ exit portals, that s why i had not noticed.

I have also gotten those colored splotches when using exit portals.

Also, the indigo material preview fails to launch when using a a blend between the glass preset and none (I was trying to make plastic.) It doesn't matter the blend factor is set to. .5 crashes it and so does .7. It tries to load up (the window appears for a second), btut then it closes.

Hi Whaat! Finally had the time to test Indigo 2.2.7 with SkIndigo 2.2.3 - don't even know if they're fully compatible.
BTW I find the plugin working just fine, except for a couple of things about the mat editor:
1. I see that the double-click over a SU mat doesn't trigger the popup any more, at least for me. I suggest you re-enable this feature.
2. It is really cool to have the possibility to switch SkIndigo mats with the top drop-down list you added, but it is totally misleading not to have a correspondence between the selected SU mat and the one we selected with the drop down list. Don't know if it is clear: I choose mat1 from the SU panel and I call the SkIndigo mat editor; then I switch (through the editor) to mat2 but in the SU panel mat1 is still selected. I am an experienced SkIndigo user and last night this really puzzled me .
3. Last thing. The SkIndigo mat panel somehow "remembers" the last mat you edited, so when you recall the mat editor after you closed it, that is the current one. This is misleading too, for someone wants to edit the mat he double-clicked on, and not have to browse in the drop-down list to search for the mat he wants to edit again.

This is basically it Whaat.

OH another thing: don't know if you've read my "turbidity" topic, but either something wrong is happening inside Indigo or you have to adjust the lowest and highest values in the SkIndigo scrollbar. Just to avoid confusions.

BTW this is the scene I've been practicing on with SkIndigo 2.2.3:

Thanks Pibuz!

I will take a look at those issues before the next release. Nice render!
