Borgleader.. how did you do the subtle glow here?
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v58/D ... 629458.jpg

I tried to do a similar effect, and things were either two dark or the colored light lost it'soft look when I increased it with tonemapping or light layers..

Did you use two lighting sources (one ambient and one colored)?

That's an amazing image Camox. And great materials! Can you render a higher res version and upload it to the gallery?
+1 :)

Heres the lighting setup, the four squares above are treated as one light (Fill_Light), I tried to simulate a sort of night time ambient lighting you'd get from say the moon shining through the window or something, then there's the one behind panel (LT Light) that's just supposed to be a hidden neon or something, and well there's the door lighting (Light) which was my take at a screenshot i grabbed from SW:KotoR.

And well in case it's any help to you, here are the material settings for the three lights Fill_Light/Light/LTLight

I might have tweaked the intensity of each layers during the rendering I don't remember but this is the configuration that was last saved on my computer.

@arneoog: thanks :)

I recommend to work with loops instead of edges. You have many advantages you wont have
with beveling edges.

1. No need for modifiers
2. Being able to create different sized radii
3. More control over the shape/radius itself
4. More flexibility in general
5. Will work in every 3d software even when you've to exchange objects

Just a wood material I made for my scene.

Zed_pmd, out of curiosity, how did you add your background?

Hi there,

After several month without using Indigo I made some practice to get familiar with the new version. For now I'm using the demo version waiting for my new machine. So here are some quick shots :

Great images!

In the second, the chess pieces are from your 'Back Inside' work, correct?

The horse on the second image is the best 8) Looks like it is very unsatisfied by the strategic position on the field :)
