lack of an object

Post by catsupkid » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:29 am

I don't know if you saw my other post, but I've decided to try rendering something made in blender, just to see if it works.

Well, this is what I got. It appears to be rendering around my object. Any solutions? There should be sss on the background (but, it looks like that isn't rendering) and transparency on the pawn.

(It was a low poly object; just a bezier spun around the z axis.)

It might be a normals problem. In blender, select the object, go into Edit mode and hit Ctrl N to make all the normals outside.

Like he said, but it also may be that the normals are switched inward, try pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N and that will reverse them.
Try both, hopefully one works.

That is wierd, i made something excatly like that, it was supposed to be pawn, but i messed up.
