Noise and mutations

Post by mario » Sun Oct 29, 2006 9:30 pm

I have a simply(?) question: What is the law between max number of rejection and noise? Noise is decreased with a minor number of rejection?
Excuse me for my bad English

Ciao Filippo. ti ringrazio dell'informazione: avere un forum in italiano mi fà felice, dato che ho smesso di studiare Inglese circa vent'anni fa!
Ciao e speriamo che lo aprano presto

An english answer to that would've been nice. It's an interesting question.

In other words, the question is this: in a fixed-time rendering, the noise is related with the max number of rejection?
If this is true, what's the law between this parameteres?
Thanks to all

Reducing the max number of consecutive rejections reduces noise, especially fireflies, at the cost of introducing some bias into the render.
