SkIndigo 1.0.1 Beta Available for Testing
The dialog boxes in SkIndigo use IE to display them. The dialogs rely on javascript for most of the functionality. If this javascript is prevented from running by, for example, IE security settings or another security software, the SkIndigo dialogs will not function.
If it is working for you, then you might as well keep using it!

I doubt this will work but please give it a try. I am glad that Maxwell does not work. It means that the problem is on your end, I'm afraid. Did you try the steps that I posted previously? (enable active scripting??) I really need to know if you tried this and if it works or not. I don't mean to pester youkwistenbiebel wrote: Maybe I should just reinstall SU and all of my plugins.

Is it really possible that this is only happening for kwistenbiebel? There have been over 300 downloads of this new test release and I have received very little feedback

Yes,
I tried all your previous suggestions.
This all makes me think I may be victim of malware that embeds my IExplorer, some spyware that overrules my internet settings...
I'll try another spyware/malware detector tomorrow.
In the mean time, thank you for all the support.
If I am the only one experiencing this trouble I am not worthy of your efforts
Cheers,
Biebel

Hey! I hope you are still around
. There is something I would like to check. Could you zip your SkIndigo HTML files and send them to me (PM or email). There should be three HTML files in your Skindigo directory.
Some malware and even some security software have been known to modify the contents of HTML files. I would like to check your files to see if anything has been changed.
(If anyone else is having the same issues as biebel, please do the same)
Thanks in advance.

Hi all!
I wanted to introduce myself to this great community!
I'm a 25-yers-old-architect-sketchup-user from italy (padua, anybody knows?), and i tested several rendering engines, freeware and not. Looking at hits potential and at this great forum, i see INDIGO it's the best solution for me! Even though i've started messing with it only three/four days ago..
I REALLY appreciate Sendai and Whaat work (you guys are truly the best), and i think their work is gonna lead us very very far: INDIGO is superb.
I'm in the starting test phase, i'd say, but i REALLY love the interactivity you developers have created between my beloved SU and Indigo: really user friendly!!!
Even the most complicated materials are done in few clicks: inimaginable! Of course, to obtain the superb results i've seen in the forums it'll took a little bit more than few clicks to set the parameters, but the understanding of how they work is very very clear to me!
Tomorrow i'll post some of my newbie trials, if i'm allowed to..
I have a little question about exponent maps, if anybody knows: how can i set correctly the number right next to the map name? I've looked around in the forum but this task hasn't been treated yet..
BTW, i'm trying the beta version of Skindigo and it works perfeclty: the only thing that seems not to work is if i set INDIGO tonemapping to Camera. The export operation goes ok, but when the rendering starts i have an error message and indigo aborts.. I'll make myself more clear tomorrow, with an image..
THANKS FOR THIS GREAT RENDERING TOOL!!!!
Greetings to all!
