Maxigo 1.03.5

Post by suvakas » Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:30 am

Here's the latest Maxigo. I finally got some time to finish it.
The biggest thing added is the new material preview feature. It's a sphere against the checker background. It makes a folder named "Mat_prev" under "Exported_From_Max" dir. That's where all the rendered preview images are placed. Previews are saved with the max scene as long as you don't delete the files from that "Mat_prev" directory. I havn't had enough time to fully test this preview system so let me know if you find any bugs and also a general feedback would be nice.
IES lights should work with any photometric light in Max that has a web distribution property. Just pick WEB as your distribution method and browse for your ies file under Web parameters rollout. You can use Kelvins and temp.presets for light temperature and filter color as color of the IES light.

Changes in v.1.03.5:
====================
* added - Material preview
* added - support for IES lights (via Max photometric lights and Web distribution)
* added - support for camera tone mapping
* added - Shutter speed (Camera Parameters rollout)
* added - EV (Camera Parameters rollout)
* added - Custom camera response function (Advanced Setup rollout)
* fixed - texture bug in Auto mode
* fixed - crash during geometry export in 3ds Max version 6

Have fun!

Suv...
Do you think about adding skin material and tabulated data (in nearer or farther :wink: future) to maxigo?
