Can we make the competition last for shorter periods of time?

To me 3 weeks is way more than enough time to create a scene and render it...and I'm sure more people would enter just because the themes change more often
Also how about giving extra incentive to submit entries by letting the winners submit poll options of their ideas for the theme of the following competition ?
this looks like a nice place for an irrelevant poll

Just a matter of announce style. To my opinion, "June 2007 contest" rocks better than "8th contest of 2007".

When competitions were originally suggested back in december, it was monthly that was suggested. A calender was kind of part of the idea. C'est la vie.
