In the Indigo environment tab you simple set a sky object, so Indigo can grab the rotation information of this objectarc en ciel wrote:in C4D where can I setup the rotation of the environment texture ?

Hello,
it would be nice to have entries for parameters in the ISL code editor.

Did a bit of work on that already. Soon, hopefullyarc en ciel wrote:Hello,

Contegufo : since c4d17, we got a new metaball option.
Accurate Normals : If this option is enabled, internally accurately calculated vertex Normals will be applied that make a more even shading possible in most cases. Note that the Metaball object cannot be deformed because the vertex Normals will then no longer be accurate.
We now need less subdivisions for a better result.

@lenogre
Thanks for the information; This can be a good compromise.

Hey everyone!
I've got a pretty uncool problem and I'd appreciate some help. I just installed the 4.0.32.2 RT for c4d and whenever I select either my R9 390 or my 4790k CPU as the OpenCL device my cinema 4d crashes like there is no tomorrow.
I have the latest drivers, I have the OpenCL SDK. No idea why it crashes as it just says that it crashed - no reason specified.
Any ideas?
Oh and I also tried a couple of older versions too!
Thanks!

Hey nejck. I assure you there is tomorrow whether we like it or not.nejck wrote: my cinema 4d crashes like there is no tomorrow.

Which c4d build are you on? R17.053 (RB166656) ?? If no.. update it.
If that does not fix the issue wait for a never build.
Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.43.2
Aye, everyone is testing this thing out and I am on sidelines so I'm pretty sure its not a general issue anyway
Not sure about what version my R17 is but I do know its the latest update. Funkily enough, R18 has the same exact issue.
It almost seems like something else is wrong here...

Hi Everyone, I'm new to Indigo, from vrayc4d
. I have very stranger bug on my new PC, Cidingo not load with any C4D shader:, noise, gradient, etc, my VrayC4D, alpha-corona work normal. I have 3 machine to test this bug.
1. Dual Xeon, K4000, win7x64 work OK both 3.8.1.2 and 4.0.43.2
2. i7 6700K, Zotac GTX 1080, board Asus Z170 Pro Gamer, Win10x64: work Ok with 3.8.1.2 and 4.0.43.2
3. i7 6700K, Zotac GTX 1080 Extreme, board Asus Z170 deluxe, Win10x64 work Ok with 3.8.1.2 but not load Shader with 4.0.43.2
all machines are fresh install. I've try to reinstall Visual C++ redistributale all version,2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015...still not work :d, dont know why

Hey dp3d,
cindigo bakes all c4d shaders, works fine for me.
maybe c4d isn't able to save the temporary backed textures to the HDD because of some fancy user right bla bla, thats the only reason I could imagine
