Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hi all,
First picture with Indigo V3 + Blender V2.57b : a kind of mechanical flower
(about 6K samples/pixel)
I tried with PT simple : it gave me white artefacts and not very satisfying reflexions
With MLT (still simple) I have this result, so much more noise (I removed a lot with photoshop but still quite a lot according to me).
What could I try to lower these artefacts ?
And other advices about this picture ?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
PT and irregular shaped glass surfaces are not always a good combination.
Let it render longer with higher subsampling.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
MLT bidir must WIN here, but i see problem in HDRI (i think you used HDRi as env.).
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
thank you for the advices I will have some tests about that

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
From a random speed modeling contest, ran out of time to texture it, and it rendered so quick with GPU I had to add noise back in later using photoshop
