test hybrid Vs no Hydrid mode

I do a simple test
render time 20 min

first test with object light
second test with sun light
result

to equal times in hybrid mode turn on the noise is smaller!!!!!
tha hybrid mode is best

Ummm... maybe I missed something, but what is hybrid mode, and how do i turn it on?

On the first two images: on the far right end of the rectangle of glass, the reflection appears inverted.

I wonder what that is? :?:
