hi
i installed indigo 4 and I also installed 3D Studio MAX Exporters for 3ds max 2016.
my question is: how can i convert my scene to indigo materials from mental ray arch and design materials
in 3ds max 2016?
my second question is : is indigo 4 support multiple graphics cards?
for example 2 gtx980ti or even 4 cards ?
how to convert materials from mental ray to indigo

Re: how to convert materials from mental ray to indigo
Hi and welcome to the forums!
I'm not sure there are automatic converters from mental ray. With that said, material setup in Indigo is quite easy and gives realistic results without much tweaking like you might be used to from mental ray.
Here are the material types available in Indigo, the first three being the most common and good to start with: http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... rial-types
Regarding your second question: yes, Indigo 4 supports just as many GPUs as you like. A user here recently tested 10 GTX 980s, though I think that may have been more than one computer linked through network rendering.

Re: how to convert materials from mental ray to indigo
thanks Oscar .
to convert materials is only important for the first test to compare render engines with my own scene
after that test i'll build the materials with the renderer of choice of course .
