I'm affraid not.
I didn't reach this far to add presets support.
A workaround could be to create a local material library with your common materials.

First, thank you for this plugin, after a week of experiment 3max 2012 and indigo 3.4.16. nvidia gtx 460m and cuda. I should say it's much convenient and stable than the "official plugin"why is not the official's one ?
Some questions:
I would like to be sure in 3dsmax Material Editor.
If the Glossiness is "exponent" and Dispersion is "cauchy effect" in indigo ?
You have sometimes a different way and often better way of thinking that the conceptor of Indigo interface 3.4.16
Request:
It will be lovely please, if you can give us some advices and tutorials about:
The subsurface scattering roll out (not seen anything about that)
and
The exit portal (the one existing in the forum are based on sketch up)
A way to not loosing the name of object and Material when we exporting ?
Bugs :
For now, I just noticed that if I set the sun with a different layer than 0, 3dmax will crash when I recall the render set up pop up , but it will render fine in indigo.

I've never liked too technical terms so I used more "artistic" ones where I could.

Well... initially Maxigo was the official one, but I was too slow updating it so I got replaced by a better programmer. Hmm.. I'm unable to reproduce it in 2013. It's probably fixed already. I just have to make a beta 4 build for 2012 too.kiku70 wrote: Bugs :

About the crash it still there with the new plugin,
What I should mentioned is that I set up the sun and sky with differents layers, my try was with sun layer 10 and sky layer 11.
Maybe that's not possible to separate sun and sky ?
So as I said it's render well but when I recall the render set up (F10) in 3dsmax , it crash anytime.
SSS rollout :
Sorry to ask again about the sss rollout do you have time to give us some explanations or where we can get a tutotial ?
