its an interesting way of showing how well Indigo does complicated motion blur don't you think? :wink:

Indeed.. although Indigo can do a lot more complicated motion blur than that, for example, it should be able to render motion blurred sparks, or long-exposure headlight trails just fine :)

I've done long-exposure headlights and they look really cool!

In this example exposure is longer than the animation run.

By the way, I forgot to mention that whaat's avatar is another notable illustration of light trails.

Nah, it will take more to make a v3. Particle moblur is a must though, but atm MtI does break dynamic simulations at export time if more than one keyframe has to be written for a model (it's scrubbing back and forth).
