In preparation for the 1.0 stable release, here's an updated manual.
It should be pretty much complete, if I've missed something, please let me know.
Get it here:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/in ... &Itemid=62
EDIT: updated with new link + manual

It's a great manual Ono and I appreciate all the work put into it. My only issue is that it tries to be both a manual for Indigo and a specification for the scene file format. In my opinion it should be one or the other. Unfortunately, it does not go into enough detail to be a manual suitable for new users to understand how to use Indigo. It is great for exporter writers though. It just needs to be supplemented with more in depth documentation to help new users understand all of the features.
I haven't checked the wiki lately but last I heard, Big Fan and others were working hard on the docs and Filippo? was working on his own version of the Indigo manual.
So thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Indigo docs and tutorials! Keep up the good work!

Yes, I agree, it's not very helpful for beginners.
Some kind of user-friendly guide that's light on technical matters would be nice, I don't want to write that just now though

Great Ono! That was a big missing into the distro.
Thanks, riccardo.
PS: May I suggest to give a better page layout (at least take care about having main arguments starting on new page)?

Thanks Ono! This is great!
Perhaps later this week I'll review MtI's functions with respect to this manual.
