Official Material Library and Test Scene?

Post by gradozero » Thu Oct 04, 2007 4:03 am

I test indigo 0.9 in some test scene and works fine but i wonder in a official material library where everyone can post the .igm file and in an official material preview scene. I remember a post where some users post interesting test scene like arneoog scene.
I think that an official material library can improve the indigo development and contribution of users.
What d you think about it?

sorry, it's just partly your fault, but slowly I get bored of that theme...
please search in the forums^^
the official (yet unfinished) MatDB (Material Data Base) can be found here:
http://elqx.com/indmatdb/
the big problem is, that the mats aren't entirely up to date (as the code changed, since 0.9, partly)
and you currently can't upload own mats.
The more or less official test scene (not the only one: Most exporters, as far as I know, have "test" folders included, that include several test scenes, already :))

If you already want to upload materials, use this temporary material thread:

Sorry Kram1032,
i don't want to bore enyone but the igm material can be update easily and a material library is, in my opinion, the first step to make friendly indigo.
