Crash during xml-loading process....[fixed]

Post by Colezero » Sun Mar 11, 2007 3:34 am

I want to render an image, the xml-file ist about 150mbs big.
And after a few minutes, during the tree-buidling process, indigo crashes with an exception.

here are the last few lines from the console:

Code: Select all

Where is the problem, not enough memory or space?
building error?

iam using Indigo .7 test 5.

Should be.

Use the Task Manager to monitor the amount of memory used by Indigo, and also the overall memory status. Eventually disk space.

ok i just monitored the memory, in the beginning of the loading process the total memory amount is about 1200MB. Indigo uses 500-900MB.

And the totral memory amount when the crash happens is about 980MB.
and Indigo uses around 500-600MB

The hole indigo Process Memory amount is 65MB to 980 mb during the render.

so i don't think i don't have enough memory..

The Crash always apperas on this node:

Code: Select all

25/64 nodes at depth 6 built

ohh jep of course...the subsurface modifers in Blender...i forgot them.
so i reduced the value by one and added them to the mesh.
I reexported the scene, and voilà! the xml-file was really really smaller.
Before that, the file was around 150mb big, now it is only 17mb big.
