It couldn't be spam. Spam is defined as a series of mutually exclusive emails, intended to solicit awareness for product of increase page rank of a website. The indigo newsletter is a series of messages that shed light on the developments of indigo. Spam is also usually from completely anonymous domains (sources) too.
