Noob question - Multiple meshlights?

Post by bytter » Sat Feb 24, 2007 3:59 am

I'm using Indigo 0.6 and blender, and I can't seem to make multiple meshlights to work. Am I missing something here? I can send my .XML if someone wants it...

Thanks in advance,

Surely you maked some mistake
Can you explain wich exporter you are using, what type of scene you have created, and exactly what happens to the meshlight?
Also would be useful to see the .xml file.

Ok, you can download the XML here:

http://mindcode.org/aquaadastyle.zip

The problem is that I have a meshlight (plane.001) inside the light fixture which should emit a 6500K light (obviously more intensive than the ambient light... Actually, I wanted to simulate a 10k Lumens fixture, eheh), though the render still doesn't show any light coming from there.

Any help would be appreciated (also, any tips regarding speed over this render would be VERY usefull).

Thanks in advance,

Hugo Ferreira

hi bytter
lower or deactive ambient light to check light from plane.001 (also verify where the normals of plane.001 pointing to, perhaps you have just to turn the plane by 180degrees)
