alpha render method
alpha render method
Does anybody know, what the alpha render method is?
Re: alpha render method
It is a mode to render a alpha mask mesh vs sky (envMap).
This Black/White image is used in PostProcessing for changing BG etc.
Atm this mode seems to be bugged, so beware!!!
A look into the manual could help answering more basic questions: http://www.indigorenderer.com/documentation

Re: alpha render method
It is recommended to apply diffuse materials to all meshes when rendering the alpha mask. If the exporter you are using allows both options simultaneously, it may be sufficient to render the alpha with the clay mode enabled.Atm this mode seems to be bugged, so beware!!!

He he, the mantra I repeated for some time...
but after trying it by myself without success I stay calm and wait for a fix

Re: alpha render method
This explains a lot
So for Alpha Map rendering the exporter should force PT for best results!
