[bug] Save Image
[bug] Save Image
When I try to save an image from indigo in JPEG or TIFF format instead of the default PNG, it throws an error of unsupported image format. Using Indigo 2.0.11 64bit windows build.

I'm also getting this error, however in my case it won't let me save in any of the four formats. When I was just using the demo, I didn't have any issue, but since I bought a license I've not been able to save.
I'm using 2.0.12 32-bit

Re: [bug] Save Image
Can anybody help me with this? This makes Indigo completely useless to me at the moment (unless I want to do multiple screen grabs and paste the fragments together in photoshop everytime I want to save a render.) Not to mention I have an important project scheduled to begin in about a month, which was the biggest push for me for purchasing a license. I hope I don't come off as impatient, I'm just worried my post might be skimmed over. I thought it might be considered bad etiquette to create a new thread for a topic that already exists. So anyway, yes, please help.

What platform are you running on, Mac, linux, or windows?

Everything fine here on the Mac. Tried only to save PNG, however.
Cheers, David

Thank you Ono and Zeitmeister for replying!
I'm on Windows Vista. I also checked the folder labeled (if I remember correctly) formats, and all the files appeared to be there as they should. Since I haven't heard of any other uses besides Whaat having this same problem, I haven't many ideas of how to solve it. Perhaps it is some quirk with my particular machine that showed up after activation.

Yeah, 'imageformats' contains the DLL plugins required to save in particular formats.
Maybe it's not finding the dlls for some reason.

Re: [bug] Save Image
So I suppose my only option would be to reinstall Indigo, correct? If that's the case, then will the key be the same? I still have that saved in a text file.
Re: [bug] Save Image
Key will be the same if it's on the same computer.

Generally speaking I know about two different ways to make windows find dll's (XP):
First one is to put the dll's where windows will seek for them by default (a copy of them so you keep originals in place):
c:\windows\system32\
Second one is to tell Windows where to look for them:
Right-click on "My Computer" > Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables. There, look for the variable called "Path", edit it and append the 'imageformats' folder path. Make sure that paths in there are separated by semicolons, no blank spaces needed though. Apply changes and try rendering again.
Of course if you are not easy with these actions a reinstall is prefered (in all cases I guess in fact).

Re: [bug] Save Image
Eureka! After a couple hours of fiddling, I've finally gotten it to work.
I found that when I would load one of the test scenes that comes with Indigo, I could save without problem. It was only when I was exporting from Blender that I encountered the error. So I disabled the "default.igs" button for the file name, and voila, it worked! Admittedly, I don't fully understand why that would be an issue, but I'm much too happy to be rendering (and saving) freely again to care.
And thank you CTZn, I tried your suggestions, too!
