I've recently noticed a strange thing (affecting SkIndigo 1.1.16): if I render my scene directly after exporting (fast export click) everything works fine. On the other hand, if I export my scene and I don't render directly after the export, when I open the scene in Indigo and start rendering the same scene (same lights, layers, resolution, etc...) Indigo crashes reporting a memory allocation failure (as if it were using more RAM)...
What can it be?
Thank you all!
BUG? Different memory usage (SkIndigo)
Re: BUG? Different memory usage (SkIndigo)
Can you compare the two different scene files generated from each method?

Re: BUG? Different memory usage (SkIndigo)
it might be something to do with the settings file that skindigo automatically creates...

benn
gonna do that, thanks

in theory, when skindigo exports the scene it writes the famous *.igs file and *-settings.igs file. When a skindigo user clicks over "quick render" button the only thing he does in addition is taking those two files and start the rendering automatically after the export. So, in theory, the two files should be the same when i "export only" and when i "export and render".
