08_1 release
I have a material that is a blend between null and textures (LEAFS)
Code: Select all
<material>
<name>leaf1noalpha</name>
<diffuse>
<colour>0.400 0.400 0.400</colour>
<albedo_texture>
<uv_set>uv</uv_set>
<path>textures/Leaf4.jpg</path>
<exponent>2.300000</exponent>
</albedo_texture>
</diffuse>
</material>
<material>
<name>leaf1</name>
<blend>
<a_name>null</a_name>
<b_name>leaf1noalpha</b_name>
<blend_factor>uv</blend_factor>
<blend_map>
<uv_set>uv</uv_set>
<path>textures/Leaf4alpha.jpg</path>
<exponent>1.000000</exponent>
</blend_map>
</blend>
</material>
Exactly same scene 07 and 08
works perfectly in 07
Looks like this in 08 (look at the leafs)
whats up?

maybe in the future it would be better to post a detail from the image rather than scaling it down... the issue is not really obvious.
I think there was a similar problem with early 0.7 wich has been adressed later, should be easy to fix (again).
obsolete asset

Oh yes, it is:
Look at the leaves, that are closer to the camera and lit better.
There in the foreground.
You definately can see, that it's just the colour - texture with that white frame, where it should be cut out with the alpha map

Yes. Got the same problem. You can't do ivy with Indigo8. Null material appears as diffuse when blended...
