[REQ] Gradient background option
along with the solid color and physical sky system, would it be easy to implement a gradient background option? preferably one where you could define an arbitrary number of points (for a rainbow sky, for example)?
i find it a lot easier to tune lights and such to a background color with Gain and itd be easier to get exactly the kind of sky i want with a gradient (for those purple sunsets or what).
thoughts?

Yes, a "Turbulence Transition Function" from the gradient color points would be niceStompinTom wrote:...thoughts?

hm what do you mean by that? do you have any examples of this?ZomB wrote:Yes, a "Turbulence Transition Function" from the gradient color points would be niceStompinTom wrote:...thoughts?
sounds like something like a texture that would modulate how it fades from one color to the next....
For a gradient/alien landscape/etc. BG you could just use alpha rendering.... add in the background afterwards.
From uncyclopedia.org, on "Elephant's Dream":
"The choice of the title is highly significant, because while the movie does not feature any elephants nor dreams, no one understands what happens anyway."
