Visual C++ error

Post by supraserv » Sat Aug 04, 2007 10:49 am

When I try to render a 3000 x 4500 scene with c. 300k vertices from Blender I get this message. It somewhat deals with the complexity/size of the render but there seems to be still plenty of memory to use (total 2Gigs of RAM).

Any idea?

Its a classic out of Ram error from Indigo, does lower resolutions work fine for you??
to check how much RAM your Meshes, textures etc. take try a 1x1 pixel rendering!

Try using the indigo_console build, it should massively save the Used RAM!

Ok. I lowered supersamples to 1. Works good now. Thanks.
