wtf?Deus wrote:No you cant. That was the most stupid thing i have ever heard. If you are gonna do comparisons like that better get your stuff together
first off, i was joking to prove a point, that you could actually do a lot of things post-render if "youre really serious about it". i guess youre that hardcore eh?
second, render an object with some material. render it again with a different material with all scene settings the same, no tonemapping. open photoshop. open both images on separate layers. take the eraser tool and go over your object with it. hey look, its as if it has two materials! same principle.
third, if youre gonna start insulting peoples intelligence, you should first check to see if maybe they do have a point that you mightve missed (as impossible as that sounds for someone as obviously all-knowing as you). so back up your points with actual arguments rather than your oh-so-important personal opinion.
its so good to see some optimistic openmindedness around here. really great. good for you.
what? you still need two separate renders.Deus wrote:Blending two lights however doesnt require any changes. anyone that is serious use HDR/IGI etc anyway. So no.... its NOT a must have feature.
so, Deus, apparently if youre "serious" youd be better off rendering 5 images over several days then compositing them in photoshop afterwards rather than rendering one image? some people have deadlines.OnoSendai wrote:The render time should be pretty much the same as for non-multilight.
It will just use more RAM.
im done.
