Hi All,
First, I'm a huge fan of this software package and I'm really impressed with the new release. I'm saving up for a full licence.
Second, not so new to rendering but (oddly) relatively new to posting on forums, so please excuse any faux pas. thanks
The Problem: Downloaded the new Beta (3.0.14) and installed the plugin to Sketchup 8. For the first couple of hours it worked like a dream. Then, all of a sudden I seemed to be unable to export my scene to the Indigo standalone. Sketchup would go through the motions (status bar would go crazy with messages relating to exporting meshes and the like). Indigo would then open, as normal. My scene would be displayed in the top left 'preview window' but the render would fail to initialise. Hitting the 'Render' button has no effect.
I tried re-starting and re-installing everything but to no avail. I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.4. incidentally I'm also running the PC version, which works fine, but I really need the Mac version up and running as well.
If this is something noob-like and totally obvious, I apologise for wasting everyone's time, but I really would appreciate the assistance.
Chris
Skindigo export initialisation issue
Re: Skindigo export initialisation issue
Was any kind of error message displayed in Indigo?
Try turning off GPU acceleration maybe.

Re: Skindigo export initialisation issue
No error message displayed by Indigo
and GPU acceleration was disabled already. However, I've found that I can still pan and zoom by dragging on the middle of the screen. the corresponding changes appear in the 'preview window' but the main window is still black with Indigo logo. No changes
