Get your boxy bits here!

Post by sprocket » Wed Aug 09, 2006 8:23 am

Looking at the shiny new gallery, & saw my first ever indigo render up
But unfortunately it is a crappy old noisy version, so here is a longer render (60hours and still noise! ouch - remind me never to stick so much shiny stuff together...)
Postwork is Zom-Bs NeatImage profile - Thanks it is waay better than my auto profile :D

Image

Infos:
Originally 1280x1024, about 60 hours rendering on Athlon64 3700+, 2gb ram

Thanks, all comments welcome!
also plz could you update the gallery picture (I know its cheeky but I didnt post it there...)thanks :) :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
Also thanks Radiance for sorting the gallery :D

OK...materials; this was a kind of materials test so theyre all basically variations on phong and diffuse shaders. The only thing I would say is that the image took forever to clear of noise as the box surround was a phong mat...doh :?
So a nice long post following here. Ive removed material tags etc to save space here, apart from that theyre the same as in my render:
