My renders\tests

Post by hafunui » Wed Feb 21, 2007 3:58 pm

I've been using playing with indigo since version 4, but most of these were done using 6 and 7test2 - 5

SSS tests :D

Splash
Yellow plastic monkey
Various monkey heads
Rubber sculptures
Another monkey
Very dusty cornell box
Toned down the dust a bit
Another rubber sculpture
Cornell box with translucent walls

Other renders\tests
Blue cubes
Dragon in a cornell box. I used white balance to get the colours similar to the original.
Empty hallway. 3 variations
Bridge
Loads of spheres on a checkerboard floor (as if one wasnt enough)
Grassy hill
More grass

wow wow wow, nice pics you have here ! And looks like you have a good control over the materials, hmmm... good !

Specially I'm curious on the kind of options you set for Various monkey heads sss... Looks like "standard" sss effect, wich in Indigo must be :? a special set of settings... you know... :D

Welcome, by the way !

I would say so...
It would be nice to have a mat preview with something like that!

Fantastic tests hafunui.
Can you upload them to the gallery?
(or just upload the best ones)
Then i'll move them to the technical section.
I especially like the grass tests :)

Kojack - yes, it is a blender fluid simulation.

Ono - Ok, I've just uploaded some of them.
