This was an intentionally forced perspective... just the dynamic I was after, but I understand if it's not to your taste.

Well spotted! the bump map was wrong on that by a factor of 10!

Thank very much, but I have to say that this is quite amusing to me! All the comments and tips about how to make textures better, and the one texture 2 of you pick out as good is by far the simplest texture I've ever made! Don't think it would hold up too well in a close-up, but i've always been happy with how it looks for general archviz and so have been using it for years!
