Back inside (Series 2)

Hi again,

After several days of backing here is the second series of images from my interior scene. These are views of the other side of the scene with mesh lights and sun light. The first a one and the second are still a bit noisy, I should have let them render a bit more, the first image required about 40h in 1680x1050 on a core 2 duo 3gh.

Rendered with Indigo 1.09
Some postpro with Violet 0.3, Neat Image and Gimp
Textures : some are home made, others come from cgtextures.com or TotalTextures DVD from 3DTotal.

Looks very good, but I can't help thinking that all of your table tops must be very very heavy with glass that thick!

Ah .... if I only could lay my hands on even a simplified blend file and the blendigo settings of your pictures.....
I can only imagine what I could learn from that.....

Except for the color scheme?
In my opinion, the colors just make it awesome !
When compared to Maxwell and Fry, the color behaviour in Indigo is just brilliant.
Much more alive than the commercial competitors.

@dougal2: Yep, very heavy, it was the hell to place them

@rendt: Mmm, tastes and colors ...

@BbB: Can't say precisely as there are many objects with subdiv and I disabled the display of subdiv modifier as it slows down the screen refresh. So there are about 700.000 vertices without counting the subdivs. Don't know if there is a way to get to total when subdiv's modifier display is disabled. Anyway it's quite huge as I have to desactivate non visible layers (objects) otherwise Indigo crashes. This is sometimes a problem for some views because almost everything is visible. I should reinstall my win 64 bits partition
