Tricky challenge - I would have tried using a small emitter, contained in a box which has a hole in it with that particular shape. For that cone you will need a fog volume - search for the fog material in the material database.

Be wary that as in every renderer, volumetric effects are the more costly.
You may want to actually model the carved pyramid and use a transparency map, perhaps make it an emitter or compose it with a camera-diffracted, light emitting version. I'm making this out but that depends on how urgent the need is.
Oscar proposed the best solution though, as in simulation.
