why the render is so noisy?

i search a lot but didnt find a solution!
i use max 2009 and 2.4 maxigo

Indigo is an unbiased renderer that, in default settings, does not really stop rendering unless you explicitly tell it so.

It continues to refine the image by removing noise over time and it can take a while to clear up a render (hours rather than minutes). How quickly is determined by the computer hardware you use and of course there are a few things you can do when preparing the scene for Indigo. For example use Exit Portals when lighting an interior scene through a window.

hey Headroom thanks for your comment.

i need to know how to set up light on the scene
i only now understand that i need to create plane and apply 'Indigo Emitter' on it
but i dont know what to define on the emitter settings
there are no tutorials what should i do ? :(

Hey tritube,
the maxigo manual may be a good start: http://www.indigorenderer.com/3dsmax :roll:

For white walls etc. never use pure 255 RGB white since it is physically a full reflecting material that doesn't exist like this in nature. So you end up with noisy images like the one of yours!
set a RGB of Max 205 and tonemap it to a pure pleasing white :)

As Headroom suggested the noise is clearing over time, and your CPU specs + time you rendered are the interesting informations here ;)
