Ferrari

Post by Archiman86 » Wed Apr 18, 2007 6:44 am

As some of you know, I have been working on a Ferrari lately. It is the biggest project, by far, that I have done in blender so far and it is the first thing that I have rendered in Indigo. I thought i would post it on here to get some feedback, comments, suggestions. I am still unsre what I am going to do with the "environment." I also had an idea to do a small animation..maybe the camera panning around or something.

looks great, but I tell you: don't use indigo for anims, yet ;)
The quality will be :|, or you'd have to wait years ;)

Looking good. You should connect the parts and make little dip thingys instead of having actual holes. Do loop cuts at the edges of the dip/crack thinges though so that they have sharp edges. Hope that made sense. :D

dont include extra loop cuts to build sharp edges.

you can also crease the edges to flow better and make them really sharp!

extra loop cuts are etter, in my experience...
simpler to setup and better - looking...
But I guess, that is something, everyone has to decide at his own...
AND there are some situations, where there is a different result...

If you have seen my heptagrammes... they had different results with using sharp edges and edgeloops and in the end, I used BOTH ;)
