woods a little too shiny, IMO, but otherwise coming along nicely. just give 'er.
btw, ive seen that chair/leg design somewhere else. it was a couch or easy chair made up of a bunch of these wood/plastic panels that rotated into different configurations. simple and effective. whos the client?

Hmmm.... I wanted to see a fully functional time machine^^

Be honest, shouldn't it be one and you just don't want to let anyone know it?
:D

I like the wood as is, but maybe any other wood-mat would be nice as well...
Heard about ergonomic seats, sofas, couches, mouses,.......
But not about ergonomic tables / desks...
Hmmm...

Nice work, looks clean !

Would you try a direct illumination setup for that kind of view ? The burning is unpleasant...

There is some black spots in the first of the three legs in the back, the part above the middle leg. :?:

the textures look great! you mentioned you photographed them yourself? what lighting/camera/methods did you use? is the fine bump map just a greyscale version of the color map?
for lighting, try using a couple big softboxes (large arealights i guess) placed almost perpendicular to the camera view or something.

Radiance, that's a damn sexy render. However, there are a few things that catch my attention.

The screens look somewhat out of place, and the corners of the room aren't bevelled!
The borders of the doors/openings seem somewhat bright orange and draw the eye somewhat.
The floor also seems rather uniform.
Oh, and the keyboards are in quite an awkward place for typing.

Sorry to sound critical, but the model is so nice it's a shame that small things get in the way.
