Me too am wondering why the rings are not reflecting the clouds in your scene neo0., or trees, or that superb environment needing for true an extendend view ?
The more it goes with you the less I care, it's not time to even have fun with you anymore neo0. As far as I'm concerned I think you are just insulting most people here.
What's the excuse for that, can't you use an image editor ?
edit: besides, if you are not happy with your image post it in another thread.

Well, it might be because I set the su background color to black. The reason for that is because I wanted to play around with lighting studios and for that, i wanted to eliminate all the other light sources. I also wanted to get dramatic lighting, instead of everything being lit, like it often is the case in most scenes.
I should have provided more info, and no, im not trying to insult anyone. Why would I be insulting people here? Do you think I have some sort of a grudge against people here? Most people have been using indigo since the earliest versions. Look at your registration date. Over a year before mine.
Im very interesting in 3D art/graphics, but it's not exactly a simple field. I have a girlfriend, classes, and i try to keep up my skills at gaming.
Im gonna go ahead and see what kind of tonemapping works best for bringing out those caustics.

Because you seem to ignore what they tell you in a repeated fashion. Oh well, because you were repeating the behaviour. And you just do it again and over.neo0. wrote:Why would I be insulting people here?
My turn to ask you: why annoying people repeatedly ? don't you want a better welcoming for your posts ?
[Post was shortened, since you are not a kid I'm not supposed to tell to a mature person what I wrote. Sadly that's based on your says, not on your acts]
What do you not ignore is the question, neo0.
You just dont want to listen to what other tells you, amd if you dont want to listen then dont ask questions....
Well for you image, i think you need a smaller light source to make the caustics show up, maybe move it closer so that the light dont loose to much intensity on the way.

neo0, oh please, please, please, crop your images to a reasonable resolution before posting! Look how little Stromberg did, and how much more informative the image became. It's no use to post gigantic metric planes to show a couple of tiny golden rings in some of their corners. It just stretches forum off the screen making it hard to even read anything.
