Soup, you live in New Zealand too, the grass here is Ultrasupermega Green (TM) just like in that render

It has to do with the tools being used, I've got this amazing plugin that scatter the vegetation just they way I want it to, it's pretty amazing. Perhaps there's something of the like for sketchup... afterwards you just let Indigo painting on your dream.

Yes, a awesome PlugIn, thought about purchasing it too.
Such functionality is actually a must have for a 3D Tool like C4D, I missed it in the lousy R12
