I've been playing around with Indigo a bit today and created these nice caustics by accident:

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I just took a project I just finished with Vray and rendered a couple images with it in Indigo. I changed the lighting quite a bit and rescaled the model by using a much larger film size. Both of these were rendered for ~8 hours, up to 3000 spp at 600x600.
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hmm.. With some older Indigo versions images used to be much more cleaner @ 3000 spp.
I wonder if it really is so or if I'm imagining things.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I was surprised as well... I think it may have to do with the crazy DOF and Aperature Diffraction being turned on, as well as using lots of small lightsources, HDRI and layers of glass.

dof blur needs a lot of more spp to clear up: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... f=5&t=7221
