Cool, a hourglass filled with coffee. 
Not bad so far, although I'd probably wouldn't put it into my apartment (except if the sand is indeed coffee of course). Don't forget to rework the top and bottom, some bevel and something more interesting than an extruded cube. 
Oh, and lose the background for either an .EXR map or a nice studio setup.
