Ok here's the first version of a bark's displacement. Almost any streched noise map will do as color map, eventually you can multiply it somehow with this one. It's not really tileable.

I will not go any further until it get tested :P ;)

ok how about this? good for close-ups only i think. relatively small map. give it a shot! :)

my displacement settings were:
Db - 0.03 (could be a little more i think)
Dc - 0.0

What's your software combo, besides sketchy obviously?
I read Indigo 1.1.2, but what SkIndigo?

..i feel a little puzzled since this displacement feature rushed in.. Indigo is updating a release per day, and i don't know if Whaat has the time to update skindigo, poor man... So....so?
