In the courtyard (Part 1 and 2)

Post by BbB » Mon Jan 14, 2008 11:38 am

Hey guys. I've finished my first "Berlin Courtyard" tutorial. This one focuses on creating the facade texture (the next one will be about the modeling). It is mainly a Photoshop tutorial, but for those who don't own the software, I've provided the final maps (diffuse and bump) in the zip file.
You can find the tut and textures on the download page of my site. In other words here:

http://www.bertrand-benoit.com/Downloads.html

It's not as fancy as one of Docteur Bouvier's tuts, but some of you working on exteriors might find it useful. Let me know if you're having any problems with the files.

Hi guys. Hope this makes any sense at all. Let me know if there are some really obscure bits.

I've now uploaded part 2, which should be more interesting, about modeling and UV mapping the facade.

It comes with a .blend file of the finished facade for reference.

EDIT: Finished render of the finished tutorial facade.
