impossible to install Indigo

Hi everyone! I wonder if somebody can help me. I've been trying to install Indigo and it has been impossible. I'm sure it must be very easy, the instructions are quite clear, but I've tried four times with no results; I can't find Indigo in SketchUp plugins section. Maybe I am missing something...
Any help will be welcome.

Where did you install the plugin to?

Where are you looking for the sketchup menu?

Have you tried running sketchup on the command line and watch for any errors?

Hi Ben, Thank you for answering. As a matter of fact, I did follow the instructions from that link and its six steps. I installed the plugin into the SketchUp/plugin directory and I'm looking for it in the Sketch Up plugin menu. I have not tried yet running sketchup on the command line and watch for any errors, because I did not know about that feature. Would you please tell me how to get there.

If you copied all the Skindigo files to the correct place in you file system, you should be prompted to locate indigo.exe on start up of SketchUp.

Out of curiosity, did you get the prompt?

To run on the command line:

--------

start -> run -> cmd -> enter

cd \program files\google sketchup
sketchup 7

-------

That should show you some sketchup informations when it launches..

Thank you both for answering. Ben, I did what you told me to do, but the only I got is a black window that does not allow me to do anything else.
Pants9000, I get the prompt, but I can not locate Indigo.exe. I have even tried to locate it trough "search" with no results. I do not remember to have seen that file when I downloaded Indigo.

Sounds like you installed Skindigo (the exporter) OK. As for Indigo (the renderer itself) not so much.

The way I installed Indigo.

-Downloaded Indigo

-Unzipped the download

-Placed the unzipped folder in C:/Program Files/Indigo/ (you can make the folder if it doesn't exist)

You now know exactly where indigo.exe is (it's in that unzipped folder you placed in Program Files)

-Run SketchUp
