Nickname: Kwistenbiebel
Indigo version: 1.0.9
render time: over night
tools used: Skindigo + Movie Maker + After Effects
inspiration: a dream
I decided to post an animation as competition entry.
As I only learnt about the contest yesterday and time is short, I decided to go for the concept and make this a speedy 'scene setup' project. (the 'friend' model comes from archive3d.net).
Setup time was 1 evening, render time a whole night.
I hope you like my 'Imaginary Friends' :
(As a note: the video is NOT suited for work
)
Here is the link to download the animation (19 Mb):

A lower quality version for direct view:

nickname : Macrob
indigo version : indigo_x64_linux_v1.0.9_2
rendertime/cpus : ?? 9000spp and often resumed
tools used : blender, gimp, GREYCstoration-2.8
inspiration : just a skin test
Ok, it´s far from finished, but I´m done with it. So many spp and still grainy, I do not get this dermis/epidermis thing look good on the fingers, ...
The human is the proog model from elephants dream, the painting on the wall is a scanned page of an old encyclopedia and the leather bump texture is from CGTextures. The thumb is mine
And oh yes, I changed the subject more to an adult point of view
