..sorry to make such a naive question but, every time I see updates in this post I always ask me why an open source software ever needs a restricted group of testers. Why not to make a topic with open updates, so that everyone can download and test the new stuff himself?
I really can't understand the process... sorry...

And then Kram ?
SATtva just reminded us that Indigo has always had a secret part, this is why it is not open-source. The extent of that secret was never precised (and right, it's movable), all previous debates I can remember were about the free-ness of Indigo, not the fact that OnoSendaï is the only person knowing the code.
Don't we all know that ?

I also sent in the NDA today! I'm very anxious to test this on OS X and help create a great Mac version of this renderer!! I'm an architect that uses Sketchup and a combination of Cheetah3d / Kerkythea (did I say that out loud?). I have a Intel PowerMac Quadcore and Octocore at the office and an Intel iMac at home.
Regards,
Peter

Hi.
I sent my NDA a few weeks ago, Paolo Ciccone, please let me know if you didn't receive it and I'll send it again. Very interested in indigo for Blender on Mac OS.
Thanks.
