But Wine doesn't run win64 binaries, does it? :( I have 32vit windows and a 64 bits ubuntu, but I'm not to mess (pay for) with Windows 64 until it get stable (ie run all the programs I need)
wine does not support running 64 bit apps.

Fantastic release !
Nice to see how Indigo grows from being a toy into a serious tool.
Thanks Ono for all the hard work. Can't wait to test.

With new version of Indi 1.1.1 the same scene (it works fine with 1.0.9_3) error is:

IndigoDriverExcep: SceneLoaderExcep: ModelLoadingHandlerExcep: Normal was zero or near zero. (in element 'mesh' , around line 399, column5)

I use Blender 246 Indigo 1.1.1 and Blendigo 1.0.9 last update.
some ideas??
Luca. ;)

recalc normals (Ctrl+N) and Apply Scale/Rotation (Ctrl+A) - those might fix the error ;)

For those of you trying out the indigo material scene with this build, try changing the subdivide level to something less than the 5 of Ono's example :P - crashy crashy (crashed at about 1.2 GB ram used)

Here's some shiny faux leather :D

that difference is amazing! - I guess, both should have lower values but still it looks great :D
The displaced leather looks a bit like reptile skin ;)
