i already did before.. i thought that the scene would be too big. it has too detailed geometry
and ono, what about calibration scenes? may we talk about a bit?

ah yes, the calibration scenes.
The big issue for me was if you had a nice diffuse material with a known albedo (reflectivity).
If so, how about a scene like: a 100W incandescent bulb (emitting roughly in all directions, 1m above a 1mx1m square of said material.
Then set up a digital camera at height 1m, 1m away from bulb, pointing down at material. Record 'film ISO', shutter speed, aperture radius (or fstop), focal length, sensor width.

i have for white temperature calibration nice diffuse 18% (reflectivity) gray sheet but it is only a4 (210x297mm) and i think it is the biggest one i can get (i'll check it).. maybe put it on black velvet, or different material, as close to sheet as possible..
