i'v seen the black dot before as well, although from what i know, the render that i saw it in was a 6 render, not a 7. could this be where the ray has an infinite slop or something?

Hi, Is there an option in order to tell to indigo not to take 100% CPU? I would like to run it as a "background task" and continue working on my PC.
Thanx

open taskmanager, tab "Precess", right click on indigo.exe, "set priority" (or so). set it "low" or even lower and you can work as normal.

hi,
i have a question about obj mesh imported in indigo. My file consist only in vertex (v) and textured vertex (vt). There is no material define. My problem is that indigo ask me for a defined material. How can i handle this within the v0.7test5 ?
thanks in advance

you need a .mtl!
.obj.....Objects
.mtl.....Materials
Then, it works!

Indigo doesn't read mtl files.
Materials are described in xml.

aha, I didn't use it yet^^ xml only...
I wondered, how Indigo wants to read all the mats and translates it to indigomats^^

thanks for the information,
thus did you know if there is a simple way to translate in indigo the uv texture color present in the .obj file. I don't want to loose the color scheme of my object.
I know it would be possible using uv image mapping, but it is just vertex painting.
any idea?

Hmmm.... maybe, you can bake the vertex paint to the mesh? I don't know....
