Re: Runtime Error

I'm using indigo RT, and if I've made light layers, it's by mistake.

The task manager says 66mb, but maybe it's low because it doesn't even start.

EDIT: I copied everything over to a new sketchup scene, and now it works!

Runtime Error

Hi guys
Brand new indigo owner here.

I got a bug report at one of my first tests.

I'm working on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit system
Do you guys know what causes this?

Re: Who else here is excited for Blender 2.5?

I've decided that I'll try and learn blender, when 2.5 is released.
Modo is the 3d software that gets me most "excited", but if I spend the necessary time learning blender, I can spend the money on beer and cheetos :D

Re: What going to happen to us?

I'm on the same page as stinkie. I can't feel to bad about Ono and Benn or whoever making some money on this great product. If people don´t think it's worth paying for, I am sure they will find a free alternative. Since I'm a student, I'm wondering about two things, before I will even consider inves...

Hi 2kemon! In my personal experience, that kind of error message pops up when you try to render a simple-color material with an additional map applied. I mean, a simple white plastic (no diffuse texture) with a bump map, for example. Generally, that problem is fixed by following the UVmapping tutor...

I'm sure it's a user error, CTZn ;) But from what I understand, you're saying, that I don't have any geometri with "default material"? Because, without any technical knowledge of the problem, I guessed, that it might have something to do with sketchup having a default material, when I started the mo...

help with error when exporting

Hi again guys I'm sorry to bother you again, but it's been a while, since I last used indigo. So I'm kinda rusty. Can you help me with this error message? Error: IndigoDriverExcep: SceneLoaderExcep: ObjectExcep: No such uv set 'default' (In element 'model', around line 70248, column 9 Executing 'F:...

thanks for brainstorming with me guys. I'm still puzzled why it didn't work, but I made new components and dummy component for about the 10th time and now it works. Apparently it wasn't related to the memory app.

hi pibuz No plugins used. I just copied and rotated. I did scale a few of the dummies, but that shouldn't be a problem should it? You haven´t tried rendering the scene on your rig, by any chance? I'm just wondering if it's somekind of configuration on my system. I'm using a small application for fr...

memory allocation problem in instanced scene

Hi guys I think I need a little help here. I'm making a test for instancing objects, but I keep getting the same error (Error: IndigoDriverExcep: Memory allocation failure.) I've never seen this error on either my desktop or laptop. I thought it might be a problem, that I had dummies inside dummies...

I think your renders are top notch pibuz, and I would just like to praise you for your dedication to help other skindigo users. I read your FAQ, but never got around to commenting on it. But it has a lot of very detailed information for us "skindigos" I like your materials, and I would have been pro...

they could easily test Indigo, because the settings would be the same.... (if things run optimal, at least...) ...but the kerkythea users have an exporter of their own, so why would common features in skindigo mean, that it would be easier for them to test indigo features? They would still have to ...

I'll vote HELL YES! I feel most comfortable with indigo, but need to learn a faster way for those quick and dirty 1st render tests. One of Kerkytheas biased render methods would suite this purpose very well. And if I want to do it all in kerkythea, using the skindigo exporter would probably give me ...

...thank you guys for all your replies, and very helpful advice. For starters I didn't realize the issues with using white, so that´s definitely a keeper! Your all right about the fact that I should have used more and better textures. It's funny about the "transparent ghosts", because I made the ex...

Small mall interior

Hi guys After watching jaw-dropping images on this site for longer time than I can remember, I finally got a chance to test my very limited "indigo-skills". I did this render for my studio, where I'm currently an intern. I had nothing to do with the architecture, and didn't quite get my way with th...
