My advice: * If you're using Blendigo, you might want to set a few of your objects as smooth, and make sure you're not exporting the meshes separately, since, due to the XML, I don't think there's a way to make an imported .obj scene smooth, for some reason. * Render at a smaller resolution-- this w...

Sonolumina, the Little Cold Fusion-powered Robot
It all started when I was discussing Robin Williams films with a friend-- What Dreams May Come, Patch Adams, Bicentennial Man... and then, we came to Flubber. I had said something like, the flubber was awesome, but what if the flubber were replaced with a form of cold fusion? I would have given Weeb...

It is all right what happened. you have two materials Aluminium and Plastic. The other two are emitters. And emitters are no materials. Therefore they will be not exported as materials but as meshlights. For the next time, please look first if you scene rendered correctly befor you screaming: "It d...

I don't believe it's a layer issue, but thanks for the input, Vanessa.
Here's the .blend file, for your perusal, SmartDen.

The only two materials that export for me are Plastic and Aluminum, even though I have settings for other materials.

Wow, very comprehensive documentation! I can't wait to see some tips on creating smoke and flames, as well as more information on SSS. This guide has really shed some light on a lot of issues I've had with Blendigo. Does Blendigo 1.0.7 itself exist yet? I was wondering the same. Also, in Blendigo, I...

Thanks, eman, I'll make the IOR change, and I'll work on another model. However, I can't help but think there's something more that I'm missing, here. I've seen this thread here: http://www2.indigorenderer.com/joomla/forum/viewtopic.php?t=118&highlight=diamond What a beautiful diamond! Why can't min...

Haha, awesome! Those will be useful. I have a question, though-- I found this list of dispersion figures here: http://www.24carat.co.uk/dispersionframe.html Could these in any way be used, say, with a little math, to calculate the Cauchy B coefficient? I checked the flint glass figure against the on...

Another Diamond Attempt
I've been messing around with Indigo for over a month now, and I'm trying to get diamond correct. I've done some searches over this forum, and MAN there is a lot of knowledge to put together! First of all, some pictures of what I've been doing: http://files.openfrag.org/Members/CryptoQuick/3d_art/di...

I've had lots of experience with MediaWiki software. Although it's statistically slower than, say, DokuWiki, it offers a lot of features and is pretty familiar to most people who would edit the wiki. However, if you don't want to go with the highly recommended MediaWiki software, you can also check ...
