Re: Indigo 2.6.1 Released
I'm using architectural glass a lot lately and no response from Glare about the 2.6.1 for linux makes me nervous :)
Maybe you've got the new version already?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Great as usual Michal.
Tell me please, how you manage to make image like this without portals and mlt? Maybe you have a super farm in your basement
?
What is your spec?

Hi!
I've just purchased Android based mobile phone and found this great app for forums (iphone is also supported).
Unfortunately our Indigo forum doesn't have it.
It would be great to read it easily when I'm AFK

What do you think?

Re: Resume render from IGI : invalid image_data_size
The IGI format was updated when support for very large images was implemented, so the 2.2 IGI won't work - you'll have to restart the render with a newer version of Indigo. Ok, I've managed to resume the renderings in 2.4.4. :D Please consider this bug in next releases. My scene is still available ...

Re: Indigo Renderer GPU acceleration
Thank you very much for these precisions. That sounds promising ! It is how it is done in Octane and it is the cause of the memory limitation, because GPU memory is limited to 1.5GB on most powerful affordable cards (I doubt that we will have more memory on these Geforce cards in the future, becaus...

Re: SkIndigo 2.4.4 Beta
Hi Mily, You have come across a very strange bug and I'm not exactly sure how to fix it. It seems to be related to the backslashes in the material name: img\userImg\AC68209A-7C1C-4CA6-9DFF-DAD9B001447F Just change the name of the material and it the error goes away. As a rule, do not use backslahes...

Re: wood in the bathroom
Try to play with the tonemapping - it's too warm IMHO. You should also check all the colors (even textures) because it seems there is too much saturation - eg. bathtub.
Maybe different angle view? It's too wide...
pozdr.
edit: saturation - min RGB 51,51,51, / max 204,204,204

Re: KLS Residence
I think portals would work too! After all, they're don't delete your light sources, and you have an environment map emitting light so... 8) Portals and GPU could accelerate the calculation: unfortunately you will be able to use only PT, which you know is not the best solution for interiors, afaik. ...

Re: KLS Residence
Well, adding portals should substantially increase performances. The fastbox splat filter has shown to deal well with noise (2.4.6), I'm wondering what would the result be with GPU only. Myself didn't stress gpu much yet. But first, portals all the way. I'm doing test with the fastbox. Seems to hav...

Re: KLS Residence
What about these white lines on the ceiling? Give your walls a thickness... or, put exit portals at the window (mandatory for say) ! It's looking pretty good mily ! edit: out of curiosity, wich Indigo version are you using ? Thanks CTZn! That's why I haven't got problems with the white lines until ...
